Jumpy scrolling

I am going nuts watching my pages rewrite, jump, go in waves repeatedly as I
scroll down a page. I read something about reinstalling your video driver to
fix this problem. Can someone help? I've already tried
unchecking/rechecking all the options to do with smooth scrolling and nothing
has worked so far.
Thanks

First thing-go to the video card manufacturers website and download/install
the latest driver for your system. If it's a built-in video card go to the
computer manufacturer and get it there. If it does not work you can always
roll the driver back.

Good Luck!

I'm afraid I need more help than that. How do I find out the manufacturer or
if it's built in or not?
And I have no idea what "roll the driver back" means.
What exactly do I need to do?
Thanks

Never get drivers from Windows Update. Get them from:

1. The device mftr.'s website; OR
2. The motherboard mftr.'s website if hardware is onboard; OR
3. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM
computer (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the
drivers.

To find out what hardware is in your computer:

1. Read any documentation you got when you bought the computer.
2. If the computer is OEM, go to the OEM's website for your specific
model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers
anyway)
3. Download, install and run a free system inventory program like Belarc
Advisor. The older Aida32 is good for this, too.

Hmm. Nevermind! Somehow in my attempts to find out what to do I discovered
the problem.
Thanks for your help!
