Has anyone experienced a "jumping" computer screen. I
had all my microsoft patches current and Norton's anti-
virus updates were also current. However, I found that
when I tried to go into any of my Word folders that I
could not click on any one of them because the characters
were jumping all over the screen and I could not click on
any one of them. This is hard to explain. I was able to
open a CD map program but when I tried to enter an
address to search for a location the data in the search
box kept jumping around and I could not search for the
location. I kept trying to click on any program and the
cursor would jump to the next not allowing me to open
anything. I turned off the computer and tried again the
next morning and found the same thing was happening.
Couldn't open any folder because of the jumping
characters. Finally, I just kept clicking until Nortons
anti-virus opened and I was able to scan for a virus
(didn't detect any). However, the computer did seem to
regain its integrity and now everything is OK. Has anyone
heard of anything like this happening?
