jumbled text

Hi,

When I opened a word document this morning, I noticed that
any text that was my default setting text, that is Times
New Roman, Normal, 10pt., was jumbled up with all the
letters in a line stacked on top of one another to the
left of the screen. Any other font or size text appeared
fine. If I highlite and change the font size it appears
fine. If I open a new word document and try to type in
the default font, it's all jumbled. This has affected a
lot of documents on my computer, but not all.

Any ideas what happened and how I can fix this?

Have you considered posting this in an MS Office or
MS Word newsgroup?
