STATION AUTOSOUND

Good day
I need to make a photo slide show using j-peg images ..(high res) ,....
When I play the saved avi file ,, the images seem a bit blurred. Even when I
convert to m-peg it is the same ,,, in other words not sharp .
Is there a particular size that I should resize the images to ?
Using windows XP ...and the latest WMM.

Thanks

Harold

For NTSC work, the preview mode of the project is a low res 320x240 at 15
fps... your saved movie will be at the resolution settings of the profile
you pick, which would be 720x480 for DV-AVI, the usual res for a high
quality DVD.

Video work is at lower res than today's average digital camera, so what you
get might be satisfactory or not, depending on your expectations.

Here are my points of advice:

Within Movie Maker:
1. Your images should be resized to output "display" size. For NTSC it
is 640x480.
2. You should use a high quality WMV profile for output and then convert
to MPEG2 using a dedicated encoder such as TMPGenc/Procoder/CCE.

But also consider using Potostory instead of Movie Maker (and render to
a WMV "Computer" profile).
