jpeg's only can be saved as bitmaps. How can I change it.
Only option on drop dowm menu to save pictures is bitmap.
Thanx

A full Temporary Internet Files folder can cause that behavior. Open
Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Under the
heading Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button. A Delete
Files box will open, asking If it's OK to delete all offline content, click
to put a checkmark in the box for that option, then click the OK button. It
will take a while for the Temporary Internet Files to delete. When the
process has finished, close the Internet Options window, reboot your system
and all should be OK.

Although you did not say what application you are running (a minor detail),
I assume you are asking about Internet Explorer. If so, IE has a bug. The
workaround is to clean out your cache: Tools|InternetOptions|DeleteFiles.

you need to clean out your cookies and temp internet files.
tools>>options>>delete files(do both online and offline

When I tried to delete my temporary internet files from internet explorer, it kept on crashing
I then used the Disk Cleanup under the accessories tab from the start-up bar, and that worked and solved the problem
So if IE keeps on crashing when you try to delete your temporary internet files use the Disk Cleanup

----Thanks for all the help guys...

I had this problem a few months ago and emailed HP tech support back and forth about ten times. Their final reslove was for me to change my picture viewer to IE instead of Window's picture viewer. I finally gave up. It suddenly started working again one day and I didn't know why until I read your explanation. Thanks.
