Jpeg vs Gif

When I download pictures from the internet, I can see the jpegs but not the
gifs. What can I do to see the gifs?

Hi Jim,

If you are referring to viewing image file outside to the browser you
will need a image viewer.
I would suggest getting Irfanview. Install it and set it to view the
files of your choice.

Paint and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer should be able to view *.gif
images.

Locate a *.gif | Right click it | Select Properties |
On the General tab, Opens with | If Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is not
listed | Click the Change button | Look for and highlight Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer | Click OK

If that doesn't work, try this:

Start | Run | Type: regsvr32 shimgvw.dll | OK
