This is a bit complicated, as the login screen is not a bitmap.
What you can do is download a very handy little utility
called Resource Hacker, available here: http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/
(Don't be put off by the name of this utility, it doesn't do
anything that's illegal or harmful to your computer.)
Load \winnt\system32\msgina.dll into the utility and go to
Dialog/1500/1033. The login screen will display onscreen.
At that point, click once on the login screen title bar (to make
it the active window), then hit Alt+PrtScrn. This will copy
the image to Windows' clipboard. You can then paste it into
Paint or any other graphics utility and save it from there.
