Journal input in Japanese

I've tried to use Japanse in Outlook Journal and it let me type in correctly in Japanese but as soon as I moved to the next line, the words were changed into "?????????" Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I had no problem using Japanese in Microsoft Works Calendar, it let me use Japanese and it did not change the Japanses fonts into bunch of ?-marks.

What language OS and Office are you using? What version of Outlook as well?
