Joining files with HJ-Split

I burned several split files to cd before joining them with with HJ-Split
and now I get an "Access Denied" error message when trying to join them.
I've copied them back to my hard drive before trying to join them and get
the same error message. Is there a program that will join these files?

I've never used HJ-Split, but your error could be caused by the fact the
split files copied over to HD are all read-only (because that's what
they were when they lived on the CD). Right-click the file in Explorer,
and choose 'Properties'. At the bottom there will be checkboxes for
various file attributes, including 'Read-only'. Uncheck if this is checked.

You're welcome. Glad it worked out.

maybe you have change the file properties from "read only" to "archive" ,once
you burn files to cd they become read only.

After you copied them back to your HD from the CD, did you check the file
properties to makes sure that weren't "read only" access?
