Joining a PC to an AD Domain

Hi I hope this is the right thread to post this.

I was wondering when you join a PC to a AD domain is it possible to
populate the Computer Description into the AD Users and Computers
snapin so that when you look at the computers it shows the computer
description?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If I understand which 'computer description' you are talking about,
you can write a script that extracts the Server Comment from
something like the "net config server" command and use ADSI
to set the field in AD.
