join printer to domain

If I understand you question correctly, not exactly.

The HP JetDirects are not "computers" in the sense of being Windows
computers that can be Domain members.

However, you should be able to create a "printer" object for printers with
JetDirects and publish them in AD. When you create the printer object (Add
Printer wizard) create a "Standard TCP/IP port" for the JetDirect.
