Damn, I just found out Link

I've been a fan of his for years and have been to see him play probably a dozen times.

The first dance at my 2nd wedding was his song 'Couldn't Love You More'

Around '77 about 4 of us went to Regents Park to see him play open air in mid-summer.

The gig was sold out and we offered the guy on the gate over the odds to get in but he said no. So we walked round the back, climbed over the fence and walked right down the front.

It was a truly magical evening, sunset in the park to John Martyn's music, superb.

May You Never on Youtube

RIP John, I'll miss you.
