If number of copies requested in Print dialog popup box says "1", I get two
copies. "2" gets four, etc.
Is there a way to stop this? Is this an operating system issue or an Office
issue? Suggestions?
most probably an issue with the printer driver.
Does it only happen when you print from Word, and not, say, when you
print from Acrobat or IE or Notepad etc.?
You can set copies in Word's print dialog, _and_ in the printer driver
dialog itself. If all apps print double the amount, then go to (Windows)
Control Panel, Printers, choose your printer and check whether the
amount is set to "1" there.
If it's only Word, are you positive you only set "2" in Word's dialog
(and not also in the printer settings for this job/the active Word session)?
