Jerky & erratic screen motions

I recently installes win 2000 Server. It worked so well I
upgraded to Server 2003. He worked fine too. But he really
wanted to go get some updates. Mostly security stuff.
Foolishly, I Let him. Since then Windows movements have
been jerky and erratic. Grab a window or file to move with
the mouse, and it may or may not move. It may move the
wrong file. Changed vid driver from MS ver to ATI ver. No
Difference. Never seen anything like this.
Using ATI Radeon 7500 Vid Card.

Anyone?

First try changing the mouse it may be bad. If that doesn't work, try
uninstalling the updates and see if the problem goes away. If you still
have no luck please repost.

I was about to change the video card, then I thought, "What
the......, let's try another mouse.
So I did.
It worked!
It was an oddball little mouse, but worked fine on other
machines. Must have been a security problem!
