only partial screen viewable at 1024x768

Have several boxes with various video cards using ATI Radeon chipsets.
Works fine at 1024x768 for several monitors, but not with the Relisys TE786.
That monitor shows only part of the screen using 800x600. Moving the mouse
moves the "view window" to see the rest of the screen. Some sort of
"virtual display mode"? Anyhow, the TE786 works fine in 1024x768 on other
boxes not using the Radeon chipset. If I start up a box using a Compaq 7550
monitor and then replug to the TE786, all looks fine... Can only find Win95
drivers for these monitors; need Win2K & XP.

I also have a monitor that act like that it's a nec multisync xv17+
and on any ati video card that i had i was acting like that. Pass
1024x764 i just have that virtual windows that you've experience. It
also happen in games witch it not particularly practical.

but if i don't install my video drivers i can get the monitor
functioning at higher resolution than 1024x764 with out the windows
effect. But i this case the 2d and 3d is very slow and un-usable.

I think it's something with the inf monitor file witch windows doesn't
have. The best thing to do is getting the inf over the Internet or
getting a new CRT or play your games at 800x600.

Haven't been able to find a monitor inf on the net for 2000 or xp - only 95.
Happens with video drivers directly from ATI or the default MS ones. I
think I tried an ATI Rage before - and it worked. Just the Radeons that are
a problem. :-(
