jdbgmgr.exe is it a virus?

I recieved a email that a jdbgmgr.exe file is a virus. I
have this file in my Windows/system32 folder. When I look
at the properties it says it is a microsoft debugger
regitrar for java. Is this a virus or a hoax?

Its the entirely legitimate, though usually redundant, java debug manager in
Windows.
The email is a hoax.
NEVER take any notice of email virus warnings, and maybe one day they will
fade away.
ALWAYS check a reputable virus site for any information if you are the least
bit concerned.
And if you're really concerned, make sure you have a regularly (i.e. weekly
at the minimum)
updated anti-virus program.
Hope this helps.
