Javascripts won't work in IE6

If a website uses javascripts to bring up other pages, I
can't view the new pages. I used to be able to, but now I
can't. I think it has to do with updates to Microsoft
Virtual Machine, but I can't even figure out how to
determine the version of VM I'm running. Any quick fixes
or ideas?

Thanks,

Kathy

Make sure JavaScript is enabled in Security settings.

If no joy, uninstall update IE 824145

Javascript links have nothing to do with Java Virtual Machine:

You can try updating/refreshing your scripting engine:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
If that doesn't fix it, disable any popup-blocking software you might have
installed.

Thank you! IE had reset itself to "High Security" under
the Java settings. I hadn't even thought to look under
Security. I just keep looking under the Advanced tab.

Thanks again!
