Sometimes, if I am looking at a picture in a web site and it says to click
for a different view (I'm a big internet shopper!), it won't open the new
picture and on the bottom of the screen, it says "javascript void (0)" Any
ideas how to fix this? Please keep it simple - I'm not a computer genius!!!

Im only 12 but I bet you nothing that you have Norton Internet Security

Then you lose.

OK - I went there, but I don't know what to do. I did the only thing I knew
how, which was to enable JavaScript (I did have it enabled, i just lessened
the security).
I had my pop-up blockers disabled
I don't know how to disable my web proxy (and I don't know what that means
and if it is safe to do so)

JavaScript is a scripting language used to create interactive Web sites.

Ignore it.

What does javascript:void(0) mean?

An improperly written JavaScript. Webmaster must rewrite the JavaScript

Thanks, but it doesn't help my problem. The site I'm trying to view is a
shopping site and others that I know can get the other pics, but I can't, so
i have to believe it's me and not the site.
Any other suggestions????

What's the link?

I don't get any javascript:void(0) on this page
http://www.victoriassecret.com/

but I get a few javascript:void(0) as I click around following links. But
every link that I click goes to another page or pops up a bigger picture of
whatever item.

Try cleaning out your Temporary Internet Files.

To delete *all* Temporary Internet Files...

1) Start | Run | Type: inetcpl.cpl | OK
Or right click the Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop.
Or: Start | Settings | Control Panel | Internet Options.
Best to do this with all instances of Internet Explorer closed. Especially
if there are a large number of files.
2) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
3) Check the box Delete all offline content {This cleans >>
%homepath%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
AND
%homepath%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
and \Content.MSO (Created by an MS Office program)}
4) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the
temporary internet files
5) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that
websites have placed on your hard drive.

Nope. That didn't help. I also get it on the NY Times web site (real
estate section). Maybe I should have offered up that web site first? Less
embarrassing!
