If the problem persists goto Windows Update and install
the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine 5.6 Security update.

The Java Virtual Machine enables Java, not JavaScript. They are
completely different things.

Java, to which you are referring, is not Javascript. The two are
completely different.

While that is true, I'm assuming that the user is
attempting to use some sort of Javascript or Java
component in their browser and is having a problem running
it. I'm also assuming the user doesn't know which they
are trying to use or is quoting a message from a website.
This response can cover both areas without having a repost.
