?Java Problem?

At URL "mylincoln.com" am able to login with new account and am taken to
".../Home" where Status Bar shows the yellow triangle and 'Error on
page.' At that point am unable to use any of the links available.
Status bar thenshows either "javascript: OpenLink..." or "javascript:
void(0)" depending on what link I point at.

Based on advice to others took current versions of Java Scipt 5.6 and
the Microsoft VM 3810.
At Tools/Options/Advanced 'Disable script debugging' is checked as are
'Java Console enabled' and 'JIT compiler for VM enabled'.

Have had same problem for 3+ years with "mymercury.com" but did not
bother to seek resolution. Ford insisting problem is here vice their
site as agent was able to access the "Edit Profile" link in an attempt
to swap vehicles; I continue unable to access any links at the Mercury
site also.

Using Win98 with IE 6.0 SP1, up-to-date.

This is 'way over the head of this non-tech type. Seeking help (again)
from the anointed.

The yellow triangle means a Script Error on the page you
are veiwing.
I tried the page in Mozilla (which gives more detailed
error descriptions). It also reports a Javascript error.
In short, it's not your browser, but the website that's
faulty.
