Hi,
I wonder if anyone has encountered this problem before. With IE6.0 under
Win2K while browsing, some pages show but go blank. I cannot be sure, but it
seems it does this at pages that use java. There are other symptoms,
however, e.g. in yahoo mail when composing a message, I cannot edit the
textarea. Either by clicking on it, or moving the input focus onto it with
tab I cannot get the cursor show up in it. Strange.
I reinstalled Win2k (not 'hard reinstall' with winchester formatting and
such, only ran the installer over my windows once again), and that fixed the
problem, but only because IE5 came back. When I installed IE6 sp1 again, the
problem came back.

Anyone?

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
