Hello,
A customer of mine cannot run our content which requires a JVM or JRE. He
has JRE, but a test that I run to assess JRE or JVE presence indicates no
Java Virtual Machine or Runtime engine (he gets the same results at
Browserhawk.com so it is not a problem with my test). Confirmed that the JRE
is selected in the Internet options, advanced and it is a version that should
work with my application.
Had him install the MS JVM. Unchecked the JRE and checked the JVM in the
internet options, Advanced section. Restarted the computer - not just the
browser. Same problem. Java Runtime not present :-(
Seems like maybe it is a firewall issue but this is a home computer, on
dial-up, with no firewall??
Any thoughts?
