JAVA in Internet Explorer 6

A

Alan LaPearle

I am using I.E 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
128 Bit
Product I.D.:55736-256-9702532-04000
Update Versions:Q828750,Q824145;Q330994;Q832894

I cannot get any JAVA functions to work at all on any
WEBB pages.
I downloaded and installed the newest Sun JAVA program,
and it changed nothing.
Under tools on the top menues I went to 'ADVANCED' to try
to enable JAVA and it isn't even listed.
Under 'SECURITY' 'CUSTOM LEVEL' I did check the JAVA
SCRIPT check boxes.
No JAVA works at all when I go to WEBB sites that utilize
it.
How can I correct this problem?

Thanks!
Alan L.

Is your problem with Java or JavaScript? They are not related.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

or

Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools |
Internet Options and click Delete Files.
