I'm trying to access a chat site:
http://www.geocities.com/superdudes_tournaments/ It
won't load. Screen freezes at "loading java applet", and
gives me an error: chatspace.v20093.chat not found. I
have reinstalled Internet Explorer, installed Virtual
Machine, and installed Java through Sun. Sun is
absolutely no help. I can access this site from every
other computer I have tried, and this seems to be the
only java problem on my system, as everything else works
fine. I'm to the point that I will pay anyone that can
give the knowledge to solve this problem!!!

Hi,

In order to view the java applets, you need to enable the ActiveX controls.
I suggest you go through the following steps, to do so:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click Tools, Internet Explorer.
3. Click Security tab.
4. Click Custom level tab.
5. Select the Enable option for the following:

Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.

6. Click OK.
7. Click OK.
8. Close Internet Explorer and again open.

Now you can view the applets.

Thanks,

Tried that.. now I get this error: "applet notinited"....
From my searching, it looks like a ton of people have
this problem, but am unable to find a solution..
