Java Delete

Since my JRE update 7 is not opening right am tring to replace. Although it
shows
on add/remove programs there is no remove button when highlighted. When I
go to Sun and try to redownload they say "You have the latest version. Please
remove through your add/remove before reinstalling". Is there any way to
get it
out so I can put a clean version in?

When you access Start>Control Panel>Java and access the tab for "Java", do
the Appletets agree with the Add\Remove programs listings?
Also try to update through Start>My Computer>C:\Windows\"Downloaded Programs
Files" folder by right clicking one at a time on appropriate icons.
