long story short: I have 2 PC's networked to a router sharing a cable
modem. My PC and hers(wifes). I was having problems om my PC with getting to
certain websites.Google.com for example.Couldnt get to it from mine but I
could from hers.My PC took me to a incorrect site CP or something .after
trying every known setting on both my router and web browser(IE 6) I used a
DOS prompt on hers and pinged the web site to get the I.P.and did the same
on mine. I got 2 different IP's go figure. so then I ran a spyware checker
and sure enough that was it .I had many redirect cookies and data miner
cookies on my hard drive
anyway along with all the setting tweaking I was doing, I had also on a
friends advice deleted and uninstalled the java objects and active x from
my browser and I cannot reinstall the sun.java.com version of the virtual
machine I cant find microsofts download pager for it the error message I
get when trying to install the sun java is error applying transforms verify
that the specified transform paths are valid Im at a loss I already re
installed IE 6 and now my yahoo java chat(web page) wont even load it says I
dont have microsoft virtual machine installed when infact I do I can get to
the console
how can I fix this?!??!?! please help!!

Sorry, wrong newsgroup. Try the Sun Web site perhaps.
