java and applet

I downloaded explorer 6.0. I can not play games on yahoo
because the applet will not load. I also get messages
that say my browser does not support java... how can I
correct this?

I'm having problems even after following these guidelines as the applet does
not load on my IE6 browser all settings have java enabled.

I'm having the same problem. I can no longer use yahoo messenger either
correctly.
