Jagged Text In PowerPoint

My clients continued to complain about jagged text in animated PowerPoint
Slides.
Has 2007 fixed this problem? Is there any combinations of video cards and
memory that make this better?

PPT 2007's text engine is completely new. I actually looked at PPT 2007 on a
big screen last week to see how the text looks. I was curious if it would be
any better than the jaggedy-a$$ed stuff we often see now. :)

It does look better. It's not perfect, but it looks thousands of times
better, even when animated.

I did apply a soft shadow to some text, then I went in and dinked around
with it -- made it a cyan color shadow (slide background was white), and
made it less blurred. That one looked more jagged than the others, so there
is still the potential for jaggeds, but I think it won't be as much an issue
as it is now.
