Poor Text Resolution with Custom Animation

Hi all.

I have set up a custom animiation to make a series of Enhanced Metafiles
(parts of a spreadsheet copied from Excel) look like a picture being built up
with each click of the mouse (a diagram that gets progessively more complex).

The individual enhanced metafiles look fine by themselves in PowerPoint
UNTIL I add the custom animation to each object. Once this has been done the
text becomes "jagged". The original font is Arial.

I think PowerPoint is converting the image to a raster file (???), but
regardless, is there a work around for this? I would have though that this
was a common enough problem for users.

Thanks.

Luc,

Hi there - thanks for this.

Your referenced article made me think of MANUALLY setting the text to black
and the background to white. It was already looking this way, but with auto
settings.

Strangely, this seems to have done the trick with only a very small amount
of distortion to the text (no longer jagged, just slightly changed text size
and positioning of individual characters).

Problem solved!

Thanks again.
