jagged and blurry icons

Recently I found my icons look extremely strange.
Is it virused? the icons look blurry and with jagged outline. Any ideas?

What is your screen resolution set to?
Tried updating your video card drivers from your video card manufacturer's
web page (support or downloads section)?
Did you increase the DPI for larger icons?
Change your desktop theme?
Turn on some sort of 'clear type' enhancement?

What is the make/model of your video card?
What is the make/model/type of your monitor?
