My daughter has a PC with Vista home edition. She has loaded/unloaded itunes
many times but finds conflicts between itunes and vista. Now the computer is
unable to "see" or read the DVD/CD drive even though it is physically
present and plugged in. Any bright ideas guys?

Well I have Itunes here on Vista Home Premium and there's no trouble at all.
Maybe it's not actually VISTA that's the problem, but some other third-party
software...
What are the symptoms, and what has your daughter installed other than
Office?

This is a known issue with Vista and programs like itunes, nero and the
