itunes will not open

Hope you can help. I have installed and uninstalled itunes. Microsoft keep
telling me "it is sorry for the incovienance but has to close". The apple
people tell me to uninstall and re-install, but this doesn't work either. I
have windows xp. Can anyone help???

Try running the program from safe mode. If it runs, then it is probably
clashing with something else starting at boot. You may be able to

i tried running in safe mode... it gave me the same message. is there
anything else i can try?
