Its just confusing

After 5-10 min of being on the internet, my open browsers will time out and any new browser will say "connecting to site ....." where .... will be the ip adress of whatever my current default browser is
After this happens I have to restart and then only have 5-10 min

I'm out of options and am considering a re-install of windows

Check for parasites or Spyware calling home.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
