Items on master slide not appearing on whole presentation

Using 2002, I put a logo on the left side on the Master
Slide and it shows up on every page in the presentation.
However, when I tried to put a proprietary notice in the
right bottom side of the Master slide, it appears in the
Master Slide view but not every page.
I then tried to use the footer, like one would do in Word,
but there isn't enough room for a 2-line proprietary
notice.
TIA for any help - I'm obviously a Powerpoint novice.

Not that stuff on the master slide appears underneath anything on the
regular slides. Perhaps the slides on which your notice is not showing
have things covering up the notice. Go to one of those slides, and see
if you can see the notice by moving something out of the way.

FYI - when you go into "View", "Master", "Slide Master", you can move around
and size the "Date", "Footer", and "Slide Number" placeholders. If the only
thing you want is the Footer placeholder, delete the others then resize it
to fit the entire width of your slide and make it as high as needed to hold
your text. As David said, however, make sure you don't have other objects
on individual slides that hide this placeholder.

Regina,
it appears in the Master Slide view but not every page.

For the pages that the notice does not appear....

Try Format > Background > then check "omit background" is not ticked
