italic fonts can't get rid of

for some reason, I'm hitting a lot of web sites that are
suddenly be displayed in italic fonts. my email has also
gone italic. I clicked tools, fonts, and it looks like the
problem is not there. help!

Sounds like "Use my Style Sheet" ......
Internet Options | General [tab] | Accessibility [button]
Any options selected there? Note: by default all 4 should be unchecked.

May also have been caused by a parasite using .css files.
