It just died....

I.E. 6.0 Has just stopped working. It opens,but can't
access anything. My online game works,weather bug,p2p
service...all work fine. My laptop also can access and
browse. Am using Win XP Pro, both machines. Installed
Mozilla IRider browser...still nothing. Unpluged the
Dlink router...direct connect to modem...nothing.
When it opens, the little flag flies for a second then
stops. I get 'The Page Cab't be Displayed ' for all sites.
Windows update under TOOLS worked once and I upgraded all
that was needed. Doesn't work now either.
I'm stumped.....
