issues with outlook 07 - my mails are being moved to an unknown fo

Can anyone help? I am using outlook 2007

After clicking on the send/receive button, I can see an indication that new
mails are being downloaded but I cannot see them in my inbox or unread mail.

I have deleted every rule as well as switched off all my filters.

Anybody has any suggestion that could help?

Even with all rules turned off, Outlook will send some emails to your Junk
Email folder. Did you check it. Also check under Junk Email Option what
your setting is. If set for deletion that would solve your issue.

Thanks a lot Neil. It definitely helped. My settings for junk mail was for
it be deleting immediately.

Would you know what I can do to ensure my mails get into my inbox and not
the junk mail.

Turn off the junk mail filter.
