Issues with logging an XPe client on to a domain?

Hello all.
Does anyone know of any issues with logging an XPe client on to a domain?
We have two Windows 2000 Server machines being used for our domain
controllers. We never have any issues logging 2000 or XP Pro machines on to
the network. But it takes our XPe machine 12 to 15 minutes to log on each
time.

It stays on the screen that says, "Applying computer settings..." for 12 to
15 minutes.
I'm reading up on XPe now and I'm not sure if the manufacturer did something
to the EWF module (??) to cause this, but having no experience with this OS
I'm at a loss of what it could be.
(I've gone through all the normal steps of troubleshooting machines).
Thanks for taking time to read this.

Please check with the manufacturer since they own the XPe image and know
what OS features were added to the image not to mention their own features
if any. There is a problem with EWF-protected XPe images in a domain
environment which happens when a client machine initiates a request with
the domain controller for a computer account password change every 30 days.
This is the default XP behavior. Only the manufacturer can work with
Microsoft to obtain the official solution for it. But you could try the
workaround (which is disabling this behavior) in the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;154501. If this
didn't help, there could be other problems; check the event log for any
useful pieces of info.
