issues with Bus Logic SCSI controller and Epson Expression 800

For right now, my question is re: my SCSI controller, a BusLogic
FlashPoint LT. This card does not want to work in Windows XP (and
according to the error message, the card is looking for a driver pre
Win95). BusLogic has been absorbed by many different mergers, and in
terms of driver and download support I can find nothing official.
Others have encountered a similar problem in that XP has abandoned
support for numerous SCSI controllers. I need to know the filename
(i.e. fsptscsi.inf) of the SCSI controller driver that shipped with
2000, NT, Win95, hell, Windows 3.1 if it will work! If I can find this
and reconcile the card to XP, then I can fire up the 800 and maybe ask
some more relavant questions. Thank in advance!

If you have searched the web and not found a driver you are out of luck.
If you find a Win2000 driver you may be able to modify the inf file so that
the driver will work under XP but this is very complex and I gave up on
trying.
I have a perfectly good Paradise SCSI card for which no WinXP drivers exist.
For along itme I used it with my Canon film scanner in a dual boot system
under WinME. However Photoshop CS requires XP and so I had to spring for an
XP compatible SCSI card.
Now I have to get rid of the WinME partition on my hard drive.
Funny thing: the scanner worked faster under WinME than it does under XP.
There are alot of low priced scsi cards listed on EBay but most of them do
not have WinXP despite what available, despite what the sellers write in
their blurbs, so beware before you buy.

First:
A base-level SCSI card from Adaptec currently costs something like $25.00.
Why not just replace the card with something current?

Second:
The software to work with virtually anything-SCSI usually requires the
Adaptec "ASPI Layer" software to be installed on your computer. Windows XP
does *not* include that software component. It is a free download from
Adaptec's web site.
