Issues attempting to export Contacts from Outlook 2000 to 2007

Tried exporting as an .xls and an Access file but only partial info shows up.
Anyone know of a work around to a third party piece of software that can help
me out?
Outlook 2000 is on an older XP machine while Outlook 2007 is currently a
trial version on a new 64bit system.
Thanks for your assistance.

While we certainly have the products to do what your asking - real question
is "Why are you exporting?" (for the scenario described)

Based on the info provided - would strongly suggest the following:

#1) copy your PST file from O'2000 machine to the new machine
#2) open the old PST file in O'2007

--- depending on your requirements either ---

#3) copy whatever info is required from the old PST folders to the
corresponding ones in O'2007 and then close the old PST file (this would be
done by copying the <contents> of the folders VERSUS copying the folders
themselves)......OR

#4) make the old PST file your new default for O'2007 and close/remove the
one created by default in O'2007

* benefit of step #3 is that you will end up with an up-to-date PST file
type which for the long-term would be a better way to go

If the sole purpose is to move info from the old to new machines -
import/export is never the best approach regardless of software used to
perform the task.

Thanks for the info Karl but I didn't have success. I copied the .pst from O'2000 and and placed it in the 2007 folder and nothing happened. By this action should I see my old contacts & folders in 2007? I must have missed something. Cache to clean? Any articles you could send me a link to?
Thanks for your assistance.
