Alex,
"iSearch" not only hijacks your browser, but your HOSTS file also [ugh!]
To allow yourself to view all (hidden) file types:
Open Windows Explorer Folder Options - View [tab]:
Scroll down to the Hidden Files and Folders section
Select: "Show hidden files and folders"
Uncheck: "Hide file extensions for known file types"
Uncheck: " Hide protected operating system files"
Ok the Prompt, click Apply, Ok
--
Start | Search (enter) HOSTS
Note: there is no 3-letter extension for this file
Once found (right pane) right-click and select: Rename
Rename it to: HOSTSBAD
You should now be able to access: (install Ad-Aware)

Note: be *sure* to follow-up with HijackThis

I can't get rid of isearch and can't link to any of the sites recommended
for removing this. The only other solution I have seen posted here is to
delete HOSTS. I'm not a computer expert and have no idea what this means.
What does this mean and how will this remove Isearch from my computer??
