Isearch toolbar

Windows XP Professional
Internet Explorer 6.0

I briefly debated whether or not this should be posted to
Internet explorer C Group but since Windows Explorer is
affected as well, I decided to post here.
The problem:
1. ISEARCH toolbar appears in Internet Explorer and can't
be turned off.
2. When I right click on the icons at the top of the
screen in both Internet Explorer AND Windows Explorer
everything except text labels is inactive (grey) and the
same choices show up, i.e. Standard Buttons, Address Bar,
links, Norton Antivirus[this has been uninstalled], Popup
Blocker[Earthlink], McAfee Viruscan, iSearch Toolbar,
Text Labels.
3. Windows explorer is clearly not behaving properly and
I'm not able to uninstall the iSearch program. I've tried
a search for both files and files containing text with
isearch and come up empty. My computer is also behaving
slugishly and certain program seem to get hung up which
they did not do in the past (mostly games).
Any help will be appreciated.

isearch is some type of Spyware/Adware.
First you can change your internet options settings.
Tools-Internet Options-Advanced Tab, scroll down to
browsing, uncheck -enable third party browser extensions-
Reboot your computer. isearch should be disabled but not
gone. This is a personal preference. I don't like to
uncheck this because I use (non-spyware) third party
browsers ie. dictionary,goggle.

Here is a link with manual removal instructions.

If you don't already have these programs, you can
download them, for free. They will find and kill 99% of
the spyware out there. Be sure to read the instructions.
UPDATE before you scan.
