Namasthe Sir,
In my PC I have Windows 2000 Advanced Server. In windows
2000 Advanced Server I have install Active Directory
Services by the help of DCPROMO. Before installing Active
Directory I have install (Inside the Add/Remove Windows
Components *Internet Information Services (IIS),
*Networking Services)than after I install Active Directory
Services. Installing process is finished than I restart
the computer than I again installed Service Pack - 4, this
also complete.
Now, Problem is when I install these all thing computer
asked restart the computer. When next time, I open the
computer windows 2000 Advanced Server this type of message
will be come in by PC.
Isass.exe
Security Account Manager initialization failed because of
the following error. Directory service cannot start error
staturs: 0xc00002el. Please click ok to shut down this
system and reboot into directory services restore mode,
check the event log to more detail information.
I have also backup Active Directory.
I have also done this process:
1. Start/Program/Accessories/Systems/Backup
2. Click to Restore
3. Giving path d:\active directory.bak
4. Comptuer ask Yes/No
5. Click to No than goto MSDOS mode.
6. ntdsutil
7. ntdustil: authoritative restore
8. authoritative restore: restore database
9. Click Yes
Now, I restart the comptuer. Again that type of message
will be came in my PC.
I have done each an every process which I know but I can't
slove this problem. Please Sir, I beg you Guide me and
help me.

Hi Rajesh-

It is possible that the issue is one of mismatched or incorrect files, but
you could instead start by checking the integrity of the AD database per the
article below.

If problems are encountered, the analysis has the additional available
command of GO FIXUP.
