Isass.exe System Error

I am unable to start my desk top computer - I am using Windows XP and when I
try to start the computer I have the above title displayed together with a
message which advises `Insufficient system resources exist to complete the
API. Please help - what is API and what can I do to overcome this problem.
Any advice gratefully received.

I had a server with the same error, think it was because the c: drive was
full, so it coudnt start up. Had to use repair mode, to delete som files.

Hpoe that might help.

Think u need at least 200mb free (well, the server did at least)
