Is XPE SP2 released !? Eval-Version can be downloaded!

is XPE SP2 released, because now you can download the evaluation version
(not tech-preview!); since 11/8/2004

Sorry, I missed your question. But I can't answer it anyway.

Actually, the downloaded bits appeared to be "Pre-Release Version of Microsoft Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2".
In other words - RC, not RTM.

On the downloaded page it says : "The Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 Evaluation Edition will be available later this
year.".

It is evaluation software kit. Kinda confusing - "evaluation software kit" does not seem to be equal to "Evaluation Edition".

There is only some confusion about the sentence on this page:
"The Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 Evaluation Edition will be
available later this year."
But this page does *not* state anywhere that this is *not XPE-SP2!

I have previously download and installed SP2 tech preview on top of an XPe
SP1 eval. It works and continues to produce eval builds. If I now want to go
to this newer version, what do I need to do? Just run the install? Rip
everything off and put a clean SP1 eval on 1st? Or what?
