Is XP now screwed up with SP3?

I'm happy to say my install of SP3 went quite smoothly except that am still
waiting for AU to dump the final version sometime...

mine went smoothly too but i will get the script that jesper wrote to test
the amd computers i will be putting sp3 on
thank goodness they are not hps, though

Mine has AMD and SP3 installed without problems and the machine is a Compaq
Presario.

Installed SP3 on two home pc's on wireless home network - no problems at all.
Everything went smoothly. In fact, it even corrected a previous problem
which I had on SP2 with Logitech Webcams.

I put off downloading the SP3, but finally decided to go for it. The yellow
shield kept coming up, but when I clicked on it, nothing happened, so went
thru Microsoft updates.

It said it would take 22 minutes, but it really took about 45. A friend said
it took an hr. on his, and he has a faster connection then I do. So far, so
good, just had to reboot, that was it. Enjoy your sunday folks.
