FWIW...Movie Maker 2.6 is not an upgrade...it is
intended for systems that do not have the resources
to run version 6.

The download site says: Movie Maker 2.6 requires a
version of Microsoft Windows Vista that has the Vista
version of Movie Maker already installed.
