Is Windows Defender not suppose to have a try icon

Bill I think you missed the point any of us that needed to shut this thing
down like the right click and pick shut down...not having to put a shortcut
to the damned thing in our quick launch bar click it then go to help and
shut down....It is a major inconvenience to say the least...if a firewall or
anti-virus can sit in the sys tray then this can also...They weren't
listening to us the users when they did Beta 2...there are other features no
longer with this beta that people liked having...It is a cut down version of
Beta 1 in my option and others...I for one want all control over all things
I use on my computer...I want to be able to shut stuff down without jumping
through hoops. Same as I want to tell things when they can start and I
do...nothing starts unless I want it to.

The MSFT feedback I've seen tonight indicates that for XP at least, they
will enable this--allow the administrator to choose to display the tray
icon, but the current default will remain.

Well I hope they do it with all OS's we need the options for this...Like I
told someone when I render in Poser and other render engines I need to
sometimes shut things down...I sure don't want to CAD them out or go looking
for them....And I also mean Vista...As I am sure many graphic artist will be
moving up when they can....but always we have to shut some stuff down when
we render.
