Is WAP2 wireless the same as WAP-PSK ???

I have a dell with WAP-PSK that I can't get to validate identity
on a WAP2 protected wireless network. Both the router and
the dell laptop are set for AES
encryption. I have two other laptops connected to the network
wirelessly but they
both show WAP2 in the wireless security connection setup.

I don't have a WAP2 option on the Dell 700m Inspiron.

I should have worded the question as in the subject line of
this post:

Is WPA2-AES the same as WPA - PSK AES???

NO, It is not. WPA-PSK implies and indeed is WPA and it
is NOT WPA2.

I had to update with the update which Jeff Liebermann so kindly furnished.

The update put the option of WPA2 on the laptop.
