Zonealarm is showing a Wan when I connect to the internet.IP starts out as
64.10.*.*/255...
Dial-up, WinXP Home, OE6. Network connections shows a separate con. for my
dial-up.
Could anyone tell me more about this please?
Also, is Application Gateway Services needed or do I have some scumwarwe?

Do you have a webcam? To be sure your computer is malware-free, 1) have
a current (post-2002 version using updated definitions) antivirus
program installed and running; and 2) periodically remove spyware with
Spybot Search & Destroy from www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before running
them. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe
Mode. Use a firewall, too. Running these tools will answer your
question about the particular Application Gateway Services that are
running on your box.

Hi Malke,

Yes I have a webcam and it installs yet another network conn. when it is
pluged in. I will try Spybot and AdAware.

Thank-you

Hi MAlke,

S&D and AdAware found all kinds of stuff, new comp. only been online with
it 7 weeks. Still get that WAN...
